forks has some of the most intricate hiking trails around if you search deep into the forest. there is a building in the local area to supply you with maps and a transport to you desired destination if you ever decide to go exploring. if you're brave enough you can always go off course, but just be careful. you never know what hides in the sea of emerald green.

you won't find this place anywhere on the map of washington. the meadow is found off one of the hiking trails just outside of forks. if you can hike five miles without breaking a sweat then you'll end up stepping into a perfectly round circle of tall, green grass covered with yellow, soft white, and violet wildflowers. if you stand very still you can hear the sound of stream in the distance. this is probably only place where you can find sunlight under the olypmic penninsula.

if you ever drive out of forks then you are sure to come across one of the few waterfalls around the town. the site is absolutely breathtaking. the waterfalls are up to a thousand feet high and underneath is a pool of crystal clear water. feel free to go for a swim.

lake crescent is one of the most beautiful places to spend the afternoon at. the sound of water pouring down from the rocks towering above is very tranquil and wherever you look you see all different shades of green and blue.
with it's lush green grass and beautiful forests, forks holds some of the most beautiful scenic locations in washington state. if one is willing to put up with the rain, the forests and landscapes are well worth taking a look at.
